Orisha announces the acquisition of Dutch software publisher Optimizers

Acquisition opens up new e-commerce business opportunities and strengthens Orisha’s international presence.

Orisha, a European software publisher dedicated to companies in the retail, real estate, healthcare and construction sectors, announces the acquisition of Optimizers, a Dutch software publisher offering a complete range of B2B and B2C e-commerce solutions. This strategic operation enables Orisha to significantly increase its international presence and broaden its offering with e-commerce expertise, offering a complete range of solutions adapted to both physical and online commerce.

Founded in 2006, Optimizers offers a wide selection of cloud-native solutions, designed to meet the needs of B2B and B2C e-commerce, all based on a state-of-the-art technological foundation and thus responding to the needs of professionals in the sector. These solutions aim to facilitate and optimize retailers’ in-store and online sales strategies. Born in the Netherlands, Optimizers supports over 1,350 customers in more than 25 countries, and currently employs around 170 people at 3 sites in the Netherlands and 1 site in Sweden (Stockholm).

In 2023, Orisha has reorganized its activities into Business Units. The acquisition of Optimizers would consolidate the offering of the Orisha Retail Chains Business Unit.

Today, the solutions offered by Orisha’s Retail business unit focus almost exclusively on the retail sector. The acquisition of Optimizers will meet growing demand for a complete range of e-commerce solutions, including Tweakwise (an AI-based search & discovery platform designed to improve the conversion rate between visitors and sales, as well as the average shopping basket), Core-Suite (B2B / B2C online solutions and portals), Vendre (B2B / B2C e-commerce solutions for the Nordic market), and App2Track (logistics and delivery).

Backed by the Main Capital fund since July 2019, Optimizers is now a benchmark in retail e-commerce software.

This acquisition will enable Orisha to increase its sales by over €25 million and continue its international expansion.

“We are delighted to announce this major milestone for Orisha. The acquisition of Optimizers opens up exciting new prospects for the Group. Thanks to this operation, Orisha will become a major player in Omnichannel Unified Commerce in Europe, and will actively participate in the transformation of this sector. We look forward to finalizing this transaction with Main Capital, and to exploring the new growth opportunities it should bring us,” said Jacques Ollivier, CEO of Orisha.

The acquisition of Optimizers is scheduled to close by the end of May.
