Skiing, Brittany, New York, London… : the French tighten their belts (a little) but don’t give up on winter vacations
Inflation and heavy international news don’t discourage the French. In a few days’ time, even more of them than last year will be heading off to the mountains or flying to sunny “long-haul” destinations for the Christmas vacations.
According to the Opinion Way-Orisha Ginkoia Barometer, published at the end of October, 26% of French people plan to go skiing during the 2023-2024 winter season, compared with 19% just a year ago.
