Orisha announces the acquisition of Must Informatique

Orisha, a European software publisher dedicated to companies in the retail, real estate, healthcare, agri-food and construction sectors, announces the acquisition of Must Informatique, a publisher of digital solutions for homecare experts. This operation is in line with Orisha’s vision of developing innovative solutions for healthcare professionals and meeting the growing needs of the homecare sector. This merger of expertise also enables Orisha to create a complete digital ecosystem to meet every need of healthcare professionals.

Founded in 1991, Must Informatique is a software publisher historically based in Limoges. The French leader in innovative solutions for homecare providers and orthopedists, Must has sales of close to €10 million, employs nearly 100 people and has over 1,100 customers. The company focuses exclusively on the homecare sector, and has established itself as a key software publisher thanks to its comprehensive, easy-to-use offering, which includes high value-added services that are essential to the entire profession.

In 2023, Orisha has reorganized its activities into Business Units. The acquisition of Must would consolidate the offering of the Orisha Health & Safety Business Unit. This operation is part of a strategy aimed at strengthening the Group’s position in the growing homecare sector, by leveraging Must Informatique’s expertise and diversified customer base.

Must Informatique is renowned for its modular management solutions such as Q2 and G5, as well as for its modules dedicated to respiratory care, homecare, PNI and orthopedics.

Laurent Urien, CEO of Must, comments: “We are delighted to be joining the Orisha Group, a leading player in the field of management solutions for healthcare professionals. This union will enable us to strengthen our current offering while benefiting from Orisha’s resources and expertise to accelerate the development of our innovative solutions, such as Must One, scheduled for launch at the end of 2025. We share a common vision of the importance of home care and look forward to working together to continue to support our customers in their daily missions.”

Jacques Ollivier, CEO of Orisha adds: “The acquisition of Must Informatique represents a key step in our development strategy, particularly in the homecare segment. Must Informatique brings in-depth expertise and a loyal customer base that perfectly complement our current portfolio. Together, we will be better positioned to meet the growing needs of healthcare professionals for innovative, integrated management solutions. We look forward to welcoming the entire team to offer, ever more comprehensive services to our customers.”

Since the initial investment in April 2017, Extens has played a crucial role in Must’s development, supporting the company in its strategic initiatives and expansion. In 2021, Extens reinvested alongside BNP Paribas Développement, enabling Must to continue its growth in France and strengthen its leadership position.

Quentin Jacomet, Managing Partner of Extens concludes: “We are proud to have played a part in Must’s growth, and look forward to future prospects within the Orisha Group. This transaction is emblematic of Extens’ approach as a specialist investor, and demonstrates the added value we bring to the companies and managers we support.”
